Following surgery, there are multiple systems in place to ensure that you feel supported and protected. These will be discussed with you at regular intervals throughout your surgical journey. Despite this you can ALWAYS utilise the following resources.

2. The private hospital where you were operated on after hours (After 5pm weekdays and on weekends)

   Staff will contact Jeff directly. Most problems can be managed over the phone. If you need urgent care, you may be directed to either the emergency department of Prince of Wales Public if you are an adult or Sydney Children’s Hospital if the patient is your child and you will be assessed by emergency staff and/or the Orthopaedic Registrar on call who will contact Jeff directly.

Please note that if your treatment has been undertaken at Prince of Wales Public or Sydney Children’s Hospitals, any emergencies or concerns need to be directed to Dr. Ling’s registrar who will be more than happy to help. Please call the relevant hospital switchboard and ask to be put through to “the Orthopaedic Registrar working for Dr Ling”, and they will handle your enquiry.
